Monroe Expands Into Lettings With Opening of Third Office

Yorkshire property sales agency Monroe has revealed plans to open a third office in the region and expand into lettings.

The company opened its doors in Alwoodley in March 2021, and has gone on to secure a 15 per cent share of all sales agreed in North Leeds’ premium market over the last 12 month. In October 2022, it opened a second specialist sales branch in Boston Spa.

Monroe is now preparing to open the third office, Monroe Lettings And Property Management, having recently agreed terms to take on space at the brand new City Life development, Springwell Gardens, in Leeds city centre.

Director Jordan Yorath has experience in lettings having been a co-owner of Flats In Leeds, a letting and management business which was sold to Countrywide PLC in 2013.  Before founding Monroe with Leanna Corban, he spent a year with Hunters estate and letting agency in a managerial position at its Leeds city centre branch.

Yorath said: “Our decision to add lettings and management to our group has been the culmination of many months of planning and an opportunity we could not turn down.

“Springwell Gardens is a statement building both architecturally and internally and is sure to appeal to tenants. Leeds is enjoying growth in the media and tech industries and already has an established employment base in legal and finance professions.

“Having an onsite office offers us exclusive access to properties pre handover from the contractors. With our investment in prop tech and insistence on the highest standards of personal service I am confident we will reduce the void period from completion to income for our investors.”

Monroe’s new office is due to open in September 2023.
