The decree revising the division of lands for restoration and development and the air services agreement between Bahrain and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be discussed by the Shura Council tomorrow.

Manama, February 11 (BNA): The Shura Council, in its eighth session in the first session of the sixth legislative term, which will be held tomorrow, Sunday, will discuss the report of the Public Utilities and Environment Committee regarding Decree-Law No. (43) of 2022 AD adding a new article No. (2 bis) To Decree-Law No. (3) of 1994 regarding the division of lands intended for reconstruction and development, which includes the committee’s recommendation to approve the Decree-Law.

 

The decree-law aims to add a new article No. (2 bis) to Decree-Law No. (3) of 1994 regarding the division of lands intended for reconstruction and development, requiring adherence to the rules and requirements related to the division of lands when dividing lands and real estate, whether before the competent courts and judicial bodies or through agreement between partners It also requires the parties concerned with urban planning and real estate registration to litigate when requesting division before the competent courts and judicial bodies, otherwise the case is not admissible. This comes as the Council considers, in the same session, the report of the Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security Committee on a draft law ratifying the agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding air services accompanying Decree No. (78) of 2022, which includes the committee’s recommendation to approve in principle the project of law.

 

The draft law aims to strengthen the Kingdom of Bahrain’s leading position in the field of civil aviation in the region, and its commitment to developing frameworks for cooperation in the field of air transport between friendly countries, reflecting the unremitting efforts aimed at achieving further growth of the air transport sector in the Kingdom. The Kingdom has concluded many international agreements in this regard. This is in addition to striving to launch an international aviation system based on competition between air transport companies in the market and facilitating the expansion of air services opportunities, while creating job opportunities for citizens, supporting the tourism sector in the Kingdom, in addition to promoting trade, consumer interests and economic development by enabling Air transport companies to provide a variety of options of air services to the public at renewable and competitive prices.
